VECOPLAN is an acronym of the terms: Verkauf (meaning Sales), Construction and Planning. Long before the importance of recycling took root in our collective consciousness, Irene Scheidweiler, Hans-Josef Leukel and Jürgen Musche recognised how important efficient reprocessing of valuable materials would be for the future. In 1969, they took a bold and far-sighted business decision, and founded Vecoplan.
Thus a pioneering company was born – today a subsidiary of M.A.X. Automation AG in Düsseldorf – whose undiminished innovative strength has made it a worldwide market leader in the international raw materials and recyclables industry.
A vision became reality in 1969: Irene Scheidweiler founded the plant and mechanical engineering company Vecoplan GmbH & Co at the tender age of 22. From the outset, she was determined to make an important contribution to protecting nature conserving valuable resources, and she has remained true to this vision to the present day. With her enthusiasm, passion for innovation and huge commitment, she has inspired employees, suppliers and dealers alike, who in turn have shaped the company's success through own commitment.
One the latest production are the plants for Biomass, that is one of the most attractive resources for generating sustainable energy. It is a gigantic, renewable reservoir of energy and thus a market of the future.
