ABET_ITALY: HPL LAMINATE NAVAL DECK

Choosing the proper material is one of the first things to do.
Usually, the boat builders use the finest materials for the guest cabins and the most functional ones for the crew area. Thanks to its features, laminate is a good choice: it is suitable for public areas on ferries and for crew areas in mega yachts (covering, furnishing, flooring) or for small/medium charter boats.
What is HPL laminate?

PRINT HPL is a high-pressure decorative laminate, in other words a panel consisting of layers of cellulose fibers that are impregnated with thermosetting resins and subjected to a High Pressure process consisting in the simultaneous application of heat and pressure. HPL is supplied in panels, available in different sizes, thicknesses and surface finishes. The nominal thickness ABET produces ranges from 0.6 to 30 mm. Customize your laminate with colors, graphics, logos or text.

• LIGHTNESS The composite panels are ultra-light. They are suitable for light constructions that enable boats to perform faster, reducing consumptions and environment impact also.
