HŰESTER GERMANY, SAWMILL ESTABLISHED IN 1953

The company was established in 1953 by Wilhelm Hüster senior. The company is located in the middle of Germany between Dortmund and Kassel in a region rich in forests and timber with a long history of top quality hardwood production. Every year we cut more than 10.000 m3 (almost 5 million board feet) of native, high grade beech-logs. All logs come from well managed forests, all under the careful control of the government. The German government is perhaps number one in the world for careful, environmentally sensitive management of forests and overall ecosystems.

We have 35.000 m2 of land (about 8,5 acres) on which we produce and store high quality beech squares Our average stock is about 3000 m3 (almost 1,25 million board feet), allowing us to quickly and flex ibly meet your requirements. Surely we are the largest and most complete producer of squares in all of Europe. For other hardwood species we work together with good, traditional local sawmills, so we are able to offer you a wide range of products.
