LIMAB_SWEDEN: PANELPROFILER IN-LINE MEASURING THE THICKNESS OF THE PANELS

The challenging year 2020 now lies behind us. Let's look forward and hope for a successful 2021. We at LIMAB are optimistic and look forward to a continued good cooperation with you all. Regardless of the times, the increasing productivity is always of high priority.
We would like to remind you about our monitoring system PanelProfiler. With this non-contact dimensional measurement system in your panel production line, the quality control will be taken to a higher level. Your profit will increase, with fewer rejects due to undersize and no over-dimensional safety margins that will steal your profit away.

The PanelProfiler is the market leading non-contact thickness measurement system with numerous installations worldwide.
The laser measurement system principle brings many advantages in comparison with older mechanical contact rollers measurements solutions. No moving parts reduces maintenance costs substantially, no product degrading by surface scratches or dirt marking. High accuracy for all types of panels and places of installation like presses, sanders and finishing lines. We supply measurement frames for easy integration in all production lines, with various sizes to fit each line.
The PanelProfiler is a non-contact laser based system for in-line measuring of panel thickness. It is suitable for all type of panel products such as MDF, OSB, chipboard, hardboard, plywood, rigid foam, HPL, fiber cement and others. Installations can be done in press lines, sanders and various finishing lines, with the version of measurement frame adapted to the size of the production line.
Being non-contact reduces maintenance costs, ensures dependable, accurate, measurements also of softer materials and at high production speeds. There will not be any degrading with dirt or scratch marks on the final products as with older types of mechanical contact rollers measurement systems.
