It was good to savour the atmosphere of an international fair again after forcibly missing the last edition, not organised due to the pandemic. We presented ourselves strongly in an audacious stand where the history, quality and ethics of our company could be seen on the big screen that dominated it.
We brought great additions to the team, where alongside the consolidated partners who support our market worldwide, for the first time on the floor of Ligna were Alessandro Aghina, the new Sales Director with a long international experience, Elvin Nushi, a high-level technician with a consolidated background in impregnation and Giovanni Azario, showing continuity of the family that has been running WIZ for 40 years. A reinforced structure to face the worldwide market that WIZ wants to consolidate with the added value of its Technical Service strength. Several novelties are also in the product catalogue reprinted for the occasion where, alongside the consolidated additives, new ones have been introduced in the group of fundamental chemicals for impregnation: low-foam wetting agents, release agents for high-level performance even on highly structured sheets, latent and superlatent catalysts to face the impregnation of both standard papers and those destined for laminates with very deep engravings that require a special flow of melamine resin. This development and renewal of the product range has been stimulated by the need to renew ourselves in the face of the very difficult times experienced over the last three years and due to the shortage of raw materials and their often out-of-control prices, but also to study and design a meaningful and more complete sustainable way of doing business, based on tests and proofs and not only thoughtlessly adhering to the fashion of the moment, topic to which we are giving priority in the development of our projects.
