DRVODJELAC_CROATIA: SOLIDWOOD PANEL OF HIGH QUALITY SINCE 1949
It all started with a seed that grew in a tree. Many of these seeds created the forest in one place. There is a dense forest on the slopes of Mount Ivanščica and in the surroundings. The forests that inspire, the forests that were the reason for the Drvodjelac Company.
In Ivanec, a town of Zagorje at the foot of Ivanščica, in 1949, the production of window frames for construction was organized. The carpenters, about 20 of them, made doors and windows inside the Ivanec Agricultural Cooperative. And so on until the 90s, when the company was privatized and the Markovic family continued to successfully lead and develop the production of wood products. It is clear that without professional and qualified people there is no progress. Aware of this fact, the Markovic family brings together experts in their profession and today there are more than 200 creative, professional and responsible people. In the company Drvodjelac d.o.o. it covers an area of 3,500 m2 of offices and production spaces. An drying room of 4,500 m2 and a covered storage space of 1,600 m2. Wood and wood products are delivered to customers by vehicles in their fleet. The figures presented in this way give us a conclusion: this is a great company. More specifically, it is a leading woodworking company in northwestern Croatia and beyond. Drvodjelac's philosophy is also the continuous work on modernization and expansion of production. Therefore, in 2004, he also acquired a sawmill in Bednja. Around 25,000 m3 of logs processed every year, also used to produce solid panels. The saw mill covers an area of 17,000 m2.
