From recycling to up-clycling: it may seem a subtlety, but it's where the real game of the finished product is played and it's from this substantial difference between companies that simply recycle and those who really make a circular economy by offering post consumer wood products of the highest excellence.

The Saviola Group - founded in 1963 and currently has 13 production sites in Italy and abroad for a total of 1500 employees - has made sustainability its polar star even before environmental protection became a trend. A vertically and horizontally integrated system that brings concrete results in environmental terms: 10 thousand trees saved every day, 4 million cubic meters of post-consumer wood collected every year (25 times the size of the Colosseum), 2 million tons of CO2 not released into the environment (equal to 2 times the cars in Milan) and 15 thousand tons of recycled iron (equal to 2 times the weight of the Eiffel Tower). Not only ecology, but also and above all products (the only ones to produce 100% recycled chipboard) that make quality, design and beauty their dominant feature. It is the first company in the world to have made panels and furniture components using only post-consumer wood, offering an innovative range of decorations and finishes, paper and laminates, edges and surfaces, of great value, available on the market and appreciated by customers. "We are focusing a great deal on the yield and finish of products that meet the needs of customers - explains Alessandro Saviola, Group President - Our commitment is based on continuous attention to development and innovation and the results are proving us right".
A method that produces great results: the financial statements for 2018 were record-breaking: total turnover (€606 million), gross operating margin (Ebitda over €100 million +21%) and net profit for the year (€31 million +47%).
