“Even though some more tendencies came up within the surface effects on laminates’ market, even the recent Interzum Fair confirmed that the most remarkable ones are given by super matt and high-gloss appearance, deep engraved structures and three-dimensional effects.

The melamine-formaldehyde resin remains the mainly used polymer for decorative papers’ preparation, anyway increasingly efficient pressing processes led to a continuous and more customized care throughout all the steps and under diversified conditions. In order to fulfill these needs, WIZ enriched in number and quality the range of its hardeners.
Alongside the historic ALTON HM 1010, essential to cover most of LPL technology needs, new catalysts are now available such as: 
ALTON HM 4000 to press papers under engraved plates;
ALTON HM 1030, a super latent catalyst that guarantees superior resin flow; 
 ALTON HM 3015 for fast pressing; 
ALTON HM 1005 for high gloss surfaces. We can say that optimizing hardeners performance is a daily occurrence in our laboratory, not only in reference to the above and consolidated catalyst but also to develop tailor-made products in order to satisfy customers specific requirements.”
