Application possibilities for HPL almost unlimited
The Technical Commission of the
International Committee of the Decorative Laminates Industry (ICDLI)
has revised the information data sheet No. 27. The document deals
with the characteristics and application possibilities for Decorative
High Pressure Laminates (HPL).
Due to its outstanding characteristics for surface finishing, HPL is tried and
trusted. The material is durable, easy to clean, wear resistant, and suitable for
a wide range of extraordinary design possibilities. This is shown by various
examples in the information data sheet, published by the ICDLI now.
The information data sheet No. 27, “Characteristics and Possibilities of Use for
Decorative High Pressure Laminates (HPL)”, offers a detailed overview about
the areas in which HPL can be applied as surface material in a useful manner.
Besides, it explains the manufacturing and characteristics of HPL and names
the relevant standards.
With the information data sheet, the Technical Commission, moreover, would
like to make architects, designers, manufacturers and specifying authorities
aware of the various applications of HPL. Interested parties may access the
document for free at the ICDLI office in Frankfurt/Main or via Internet.
