HYMMEN wins Great Innovations Award at fair in Hannover.
The INPRINT 2014 is the first fair specialized on industrial inkjet taking place in Hannover from April 8th to 10th 2014. Hymmen presented in hall 21, booth A04 the new developments in industrial inkjet and the following production technologies. These innovations convinced the industrial inkjet experts in the panel and the plenum of Hymmen´s innovational strength. They chose Hymmen as winner for the Great Innovations Award of the INPRINT fair 2014.
The INPRINT offered as new forum for the industrial inkjet a very good oppotunity to show the new developments in digital printing to the specialized public. Especially the latest innovation of Hymmen, the digital printing line JPUPITER JPT-C 2100, got special attention. The Core of the Line – the printing modules, with which you can print single pass on board material – was exhibited the booth (look at picture 1 and 2).
During the three days at the fair the Hymmen booth had many visitors. So the company is satisfied with the outcome of the fair: Contacts that already existed could be strengthened. Additionally new contacts to customers from areas outside the traditional woodworking industry could be made.
Hymmen´s innovational strength was honored on the fair´s last day. At the competition for the Great Innovations Award of the INPRINT 2014 Hymmen won the first award (look at picture 3). The panel consisting of digital inkjet experts as well as the plenum chose Hymmen because of the latest innovative development: the Industrial Digital Printing Line JPT-C 2100.Already since 2008 Hymmen deals with industrial inkjet. Hymmen stands for digital printing with industrial capacities. This means large, wide and heavy machines, that can deal with corresponding quantities and wide formats. The strength of Hymmen is the single-pass digital printing on more than 1.000 mm working width – on board material as well as on roll to roll material. 28 industrial digital printing lines sold with a printing width of up to 2.100 mm and a processing speed of up to 50m/min: This is what established Hymmen as market leader in this area.
Hymmen deals mainly with the finishing of decorative surfaces. The focus is put on the woodworking industry. Besides that Hymmen recommends industrial inkjet solutions combined with special weather proven lacquers for outdoor applications. Examples are Façade-Elements etc. Besides that developments in the area of packaging are expected.
Specialized in machines and plants for the production and surface finishing of flat materials, Hymmen has a large know-how concerning workflow details. This is not only the case for industrial inkjet, but also for pressing technology (Double Belt Presses, Short-Cycle and Multi Opening Presses) and Liquid Coating Lines and Laminating Lines. This wide knowledge enables Hymmen to offer more than stand-alone solutions concerning machinery and technology. Especially by integrating the innovative industrial digital printing technology into the whole production process at the customer´s site this is an important factor for success.
The digital printing-technology via single-pass was already integrated into the customer´s workflows successfully. Either by integrating the industrial inkjet :
1.on furniture-surfaces consisting of lightweight construction or chipboard and the UV-lacquer finish.
2.on flooring (HDF) and melamine pressing.
3.on paper and the following CPL-pressing.
4.on LVT/PVC and finishing via UV-top-lacquer.
