THK JAPAN, DUMMY DOLL WITH SENSORS AND SMART SENSING CHAIR
At the CES, world’s largest trade show for consumer electronics (Las Vegas/U.S.A., 9–12th January 2018), THK presented two prototypes. “ATOMOS” , a dummy doll with sensors:
The dummy doll ATOMOS can be equipped with sensors overall along the body. In this way ATOMOS can detect various surrounding conditions of the place where it stands, and visualize the data. ATOMOS consists of a white basic body and many gray acryl plates, which gives a silhouette of human being body. • Various sensors can be mounted between the gray acryl plates along the body according to the need surrounding data. • Over the integrated THK telescopic rails type FBL27D the chest part can be opened for an easiy installation of a microprocessor or other devices. In the waist of the dummy doll, a THK cross roller ring type RF77F is used for an easy position adjusting. Prototype details: • The transparent acryl plates are assembled in a pitch of 15 mm each other so that sensor modules can be easily set in between them. • Sensor data is visualized on a separate monitor.
