China: The Exports of Wooden Products Registered a Growth in Negative Circumstances in Zhanjiang in Guangdong Province

According to Guangdong Zhanjiang Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that in 2008 there were altogether 10,100 batches of wooden products and furniture exported with a value of $0.158 billion, and the overall quantity remains the same over last year but the value increased by 10%. Among them, 9,100 batches were wooden furniture valued $ 0.141 billion which accounted for 90% and 89% of the total. These products were mainly exported to US. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, European Union, Japan, Korea, Middle East, China Hongkong, and China Taiwan, and other areas in the world.
