The exhibition that will bring together the entire forest cluster to Helsinki / Finland. It became evident during discussions that the presence of all sectors of the cluster will make the event more attractive both among exhibitors who sell products and services to many sectors, and among visitors to each sector. The cluster exhibition enables visitors to meet not only their own main suppliers but also a wide selection of equipment, accessory and service providers. With the visitors getting more out of their fair experience, more professionals will be attracted, and subsequently the main suppliers increasing their business too. At a cluster market, can be invest more in marketing and additional programs than at a fair focusing on a single sector.
The new exhibition concept covers all areas of the forest cluster. The new larger exhibition will combine the old favorites PulPaper (since 1987) and Pactec (since 1989), and the newcomers WOOD and BIOENERGY. The core of the event will be the BioProducts theme area, around which the other areas will be localized sector by sector. The WOOD exhibition aims to become the number one event in the north, focusing in 2018 on Finland, Sweden the Baltic countries and Russia. The exhibition will be international, and that is why the program, briefings and any other official parts will be carried out in English.
