On the occasion of next “iSaloni”, ANNIBALE COLOMBO presents Bend: a sculpture table which, thanks to the harmonious mix of wood and marble, is conducive to a refined conviviality.
With its versatile use (dining rooms, conference halls, offices, luxury hotels and private houses) Bend is a creation of organic design, whose statuesque posture gives in fact an impression of movement. Top is made of precious marble “Kenja Black”, whose veins remind of the waves of the Indian Ocean and of the wild nature of the Rift Valley, and is framed into a border of solid wood. Base is made of more than 130 pieces of solid wood, wisely assembled and shaped, so as to obtain the elliptical silhouette which gives to the table its extraordinary – and apparent – lightness.
Completely hand finished, base is smooth and uniform: the transparency of shellac polishing – available in many colors – highlights the precious and true wood grains.
