Cominfer: Isabella Frasca presents her new EMOZIONI 2013 collection.

“I find it difficult to imagine furniture without handles, like a kitchen without appliances. This may seem strange in a time where minimalist design increasingly prefers handle-free furniture. I like to think that a handle or accessory are what makes a piece of furniture stand out, what defines its aesthetic and even emotional identity, thereby forming a relationship between the person and his or her home. They should add to creating a distinctive environment which represents the essence of the person who lives there, therefore making it unique.”
This is the key to the Isabella Frasca collection which defines detail as the protagonist in the aesthetics of furniture. Six different models of handles express the essence of furniture, interpreting space, irony, vintage and the world of geometry, and conveying the expressive potential of furniture through its details.
The models - Fiammifero, Tenso , Spazio, Spezzata, Linea and Stappo – are much more than a question of form. In fact, they are the result of a successful collaboration between Isabella Frasca and the BCF studio, which has over ten years’ experience in design inspired by emotions, in particular in the kitchen and bathroom sectors. The studio has been awarded four ADI Design Index mentions in recent years, as well as an honourable mention at the Compasso d’Oro in 2011.
Together with her passion for innovation and creativity, Isabella Frasca adds to this the ‘tailor-made’ concept through her relationship with the Client, coordinating the different creative steps right through to production. She personally follows the development of each project up to the end product, and is keen to satisfy even the most sophisticated requirements.
Finally, twenty years in the family business confirm Isabella’s keen know-how of materials and different craft and industrial production processes. Added to this, she has vast experience in the structural and cultural organization which optimizes the production process.
