Amelco Industries Ltd is one of the first industries in the south-eastern Mediterranean and Middle East area to supply most of the mattress producers with the necessary raw materials and machinery for the manufacture of innerspring mattresses. The company's objective is to continuously strive to improve the final mattress product and act as a partner to its customers by supporting their bedding needs.
The company was established in 1972 in Nicosia, Cyprus, originally as a raw material manufacturing firm for innerspring mattresses. Bonnell spring units, coir fibre (coconut) pads and cotton press felt were the first items to be produced. By 1985, polyurethane foam, polyester wadding, pillows, hard felt and cotton wadding, had also been added to the product list. Since 1990, Amelco Industries Ltd has added the Machinery Section, offering new and reconditioned second-hand mattress machinery. A wide range of quality machinery for the bedding industry is designed and built solely within the company’s premises. Our machinery is used by more than 50 companies across 5 continents.
