LEMTAPES FINLAND ”The result is always the best solution possible”

Metsä Wood processes laminated veneer lumber and plywood in Punkaharju. Lemtapes’ taping products have been an essential part of the production of both product families for over 15 years.
Hot melt strings and tapes consist of polyester string that has a layer of EVA-based hot melt adhesive on the surface. The tapes are available in various thicknesses and colors, including blue, brown and transparent.

The characteristic feature of the strings and tapes is that the hot melt adhesive on their surface melts quickly in the heating tube and adheres quickly and firmly to the veneer surface after the composer’s press roll.
They are suitable for composing e.g. birch, spruce, pine and poplar with Raute and Kuper DMF composers. Metsä Wood processes laminated veneer lumber and plywood in Punkaharju. Lemtapes’ taping products have been an essential part of the production of both product families for over 15 years.
Plywood is made of uniform quality birch. Thanks to the high quality raw material and their structure, the sheets have excellent strength and rigidity properties. Lemtapes’ hot melt strings form a uniform veneer that is dimensioned to meet the customer’s needs.
