After considerable reduction in turnover in the very difficult years of 2009 and 2010 for the machine building industry, Wemhőner Surface Technologies has returned to former growth rates in the year 2011. While the turnover in 2010 had decreased to 43 Mio €, a turnover of approx. 65 Mio € (= plus 51%) is expected for the year 2011.
The plant manufacturer, specialist in machinery and installations for the surfacing of wood panels and market leader worldwide in this segment of the market, started into the new with an order volume of 55 Mio € and has currently and order volume of 74 Mio. € which secures the employment up to the year 2012. The number of employees could be kept constant on the level of 240 employees.
Wemhőner (Changzhou) Machinery manufacturing Co. Ltd in China is developing positively. Here the turnover and number of employees from the year 2010 to 2011 increased considerably. The turnover of 56 Mio. RMB (= 6,1 Mio €) in 2010 increases to an expected turnover of more than 90 Mio RMB (=9,7 Mio €) in the year 2011. It will be exhibited on this years’ Ligna. Wemhőner as also able to offer to its customers all possibilities of surfacing of wood based panels in the form of presses, lacquering lines, as well as direct and digital printing lines in single and multi-pass procedure.
