LOMBARDO ITALY: HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTIONS OF CHIPBOARD (SINCE 1967) & MFC

Established in 1967 and initially focused on the production of raw particleboards, over the last 10 years our family run business improved its experience establishing a range of products including MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard).

LOMBARDO raw particleboards are outstanding products, whose high quality depends both on the choice of raw materials and on the care profuse to each stage of working process. Recovering only waste of primary processes in a controlled supply chain, we are sure that our wood comes from forests managed in an eco – sustainable way and not contaminated with any type of chemical element. We use resins with a low content of formaldehyde that able to achieve panels certified by Catas laboratories:
– Lomspan class 1 Standard EN 120 – Lowchem that meets the requirements of the California Code of Regulation (FRO ATCM §93210.2 (a) Table 1, Phase 2).
The Lombardo chipboards are, therefore, the result of only two carefully checked raw materials: natural and ecological wood, and certified resin.
To the seriousness of material selection we add the experience gained in almost 50 years of activity during which, with engagement and perseverance, we succeed in improving the techniques of production to stay always ahead in our field. Result of passion, technical skills and craftsmanship, our MFC stands for the excellent integration between a wide range of refined decorative and innovative finishing and a soul in raw chipboard with fine physical features.
Indeed the care of aesthetic aspects is combined with high mechanical performances that reduce tools wear and facilitate every stage of production, from cutting to assembly.
*Smooth and uniform surface: Particularly suitable for finishing with melamine papers and with any other type of coating (wood veneer, finish foil, floors overlay, HPL, CPL , PVC, PP, etc.).
*Solid structure: Excellent for edging, for special working processing (folding, performing, post-forming, etc.) and for iron parts insertion.
*Light and neutral color: Essential to not alter the tone of thin and light over coating.
*Lightness: Useful to simplify handling and manufacturing in factory, profitable to optimize the shipping of finished furniture.
