SCA_SWEDEN: THE FORESTS WILL BE AS RICH IN ANIMALS & PLANTS IN THE FUTURE AS TODAY

The SCA Group saw the light of day on November 27, 1929. Behind the formation of the company, the Swedish financier Ivar Kreuger, who of a dozen independent forest companies, created a single group. The company included forests, sawmills, pulp mills, workshops and power companies. SCA had a turnover of approximately SEK 100 million and production was conducted in some 40 Swedish units with 6,500 employees.

“We take care of our forests in the long term with the ambition to both produce more high quality renewable raw material and to preserve and develop the other values of the forest. The goal of our forestry is to have at least as much timber, biodiversity and nature experiences in our forests in the future as we have today. Help our knowledgeable and experienced wood buyers when you want to talk about your forest. We guide you through your questions and thoughts so that you can reach your goals with your forestry. Our goal is for you to get as much as possible out of your forest, whether it's about growth, natural values, money or anything else. Over the years, we have built up experience and knowledge about how to use the forest responsibly and in the long term with regard to land, water and air, as well as creating good conditions for a rich animal and plant life. We work together with experienced and certified contractors who adapt the measures according to your wishes and the conditions of your forest. As Europe's largest private forest owner, we are also active in various national research projects aimed at improving forestry. When you hire us to do work in your forest, our collective experience and knowledge are at your disposal.”
