Since 1946, we have had the opportunities to work with some of our industries best companies. We take pride in being Preferred Integrators and Official Partners since we rely on these technologies to make our systems even better. Design Con-Vey has a complete in house mechanical engineering department. We utilize Autodesk Inventor 3-D modeling and Autodesk Algor simulation software which is run on the most up-to-date hardware. This technology provides our engineers with the ability to better visualize projects, employ simulations, prototyping, spot design flaws early in the process and design for real-world conditions, making us very efficient and economical. For projects that require computations, finite element stress analysis and detail design our licensed professional engineering team has the tools and experience needed for these tasks. If it moves, we can move it. Our electrical and hydraulic technicians are experts at programmable logic controllers, pc-based control, human machine interface (HMI), variable speed drives, motor control, hydraulic and pneumatics systems. We also provide custom panel fabrication (UL & CSA certified panel shop), start-up, training, and technical on-site services. Fabrication Our journeyman fabricators and machinists have an average of over 20 years experiences and knowledge to do the job right. Journeyman welders are AWS certified and our custom fabrication group specialize in steel, stainless, and aluminum fabrication, assembly and testing.
Our full service facility has over 72,000 sq ft of assembly space and an in-house machine shop filled with CNC mills and lathes. We are able to stock and custom manufacture replacement parts for all of the equipment we sell and most others. Our shop also has access to 5/10 ton overhead cranes, shot blasting and painting facilities, CNC plasma burn table, shears and Ironworkers.
