Biomass Engineering & Equipment is a division of Veneer Services, LLC and was created to ensure a total focus on the rapidly expanding biomass industry. Every factory in the veneer and panel industry uses their wood waste to generate steam power, and we successfully developed material handling machinery for the proper utilization of that wood waste. As machine designers, many of our best ideas were actually based on seeds planted by customers. The idea to form the company as a division of our parent company, Veneer Services, was born from a very similar situation. Drum Chipper Model DPC
The Drum Chipper, model DPC, will withstand years of heavy use, delivering a consistent, reliable final product throughout its life. It comes equipped with a single upper feed roll and opens wider than our DPF model, making it perfect for processing voluminous materials like veneer scraps or bark. Features -Unique control system monitors the load on the drum and changes the feed rate accordingly.
-Drum is attached to the driveshaft by expanding ring—a much stronger method than keyways.
-Segmented lower rollers allow for easier maintenance and replacement.
-Can be used for whole logs, pulp wood, veneer, cores, slabs, scraps, etc. and for many other materials.
-Horizontal or top feed, rear or bottom discharge.
