1st International Conference - Bioenergy in Romania - 20th November 2008, Sala Palatului, Bucharest
Biomass is mainly used for heating so far. But Romania still contains unused potentials for further use of biomass. Especially to ensure an independent energy supply in rural areas, concepts are made to provide the population with heat from agricultural waste, which are supported by the government through development funds from the EU.
International and Romanian experts will meet in the framework of RENEXPO South-East Europe to ensure knowledge transfer, exchange present experiences from the practice and offer advice gained through research and development.
