Barbara Schlag supervises PR activities for ICDLI and the Fachgruppe Dekorative Schichtstoffplatten in the Fachgruppe Dekorative Schichtstoffplatten in the GKV

Since May 1, 2006 Barbara Schlag (25), Bachelor of Arts and PR consultant, manages the public relations activities of the International Committee of the Decorative Laminates Industry (ICDLI) and the Fachgruppe Dekorative Schichtstoffplatten in the Gesamtverband Kunststoffverarbeitende Industrie e.V. (GKV, association of the plastics converting industry).
“With the new position we take the enormous importance of public relations for our trade into account”, said Ralf Olsen, Secretary General of the ICDLI and the Fachgruppe Dekorative Schichtstoffplatten (trade group decorative laminates). “We would like to offer our members a distinct surplus value, among others with a strengthened press work.” The former approved PR activities of the organizations will, thus, be pushed ahead and enlarged consequently.
For more than 40 years the ICDLI is the international representation of the interests of the European laminates manufacturers. Today, it numbers 22 members from ten different countries. The ICDLI-secretary is located in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
