Lovely Day by Euromobil Group Italy, Salone Hall 20

Lovely Day is the brand-new sofa that will be one of the features of the Gruppo Euromobil stand at the 2017 Salone Internazionale del Mobile. Created by designer Marc Sadler for Désirée, this room centre sofa is ideal for daily socialising, as well as a romantic tête à tête. It is distinguished by its movable, self-supporting cushions that due to special clutch articulation can be placed at different angles to ensure perfect comfort for any conformation. The sofa is held off the ground by means of sculpted metal feet, contributing to the airy look of its uncluttered, contemporary lines.

Marc Sadler A Frenchman born in Austria, Marc Sadler has lived and worked as a designer in France, USA, Asia and Italy.
One of the first to graduate with a degree in “esthétique industrielle” at the Paris ENSAD, with a dissertation on plastics, he was a pioneer of experiments with materials and cross contamination of materials and technologies, making these issues a distinguishing aspect of his work. At the beginning of the 1970s he created the first thermoplastic, fully recyclable ski boots, industrialised by the Italian company Caber. Nowadays he employs his eclectic skills as a consultant for many companies in a good cross section of the industry.
Four times winner of the Compasso d'Oro (1994, 2001, 2008 and 2014), one Special Mention (1998) and two Selections (1994 and 2008) from the ADI Associazione Design Industriale, over the years his work has been awarded many other international prizes.
