SÜDDEKOR: A spotlight on authenticity.

At its 105-square-metre trade fair stand in Hall 5, Stand C10, it presented to the trade visitors with a considerably larger space than in previous years. Within the context of a newly-developed, modular presentation concept, SÜDDEKOR will, above all, be showcasing wood structures ranging from elegant to rustic in all manner of facets and designs. Here, the union of the elegant and the rustic is not a contradiction, but a symbiosis requiring extremely sophisticated design expertise. Just how successful this can be will be revealed at the 2D Group stand at the trade fair. And the vintage topic – with traces of aging and usage – is also clearly present. SÜDDEKOR will be highlighting its wood designs in conjunction with super-matt finish foils in all variations along with trendy stone and fantasy décors in rusty looks.
A particular spotlight will be on the currently hugely-popular topic of “oak”, such as the expressive “Oak Lefkas”, for instance. But the décor specialists are also focussing on straight-lined, elegant structures, such as the timelessly-modern “Elm Baron”, for example. Furthermore, the SÜDDEKOR trade fair stand in Pordenone will be showcasing truly eye-catching knotty designs and split-wood décors.
However, SÜDDEKOR will also be exhibiting far more than just its design competence. A large portfolio of release paper structures, structured finish foils and “embossed in register” surfaces impressively demonstrates that SÜDDEKOR has masterfully perfected the interaction of look and feel. “We want to offer our customers much more than merely colour on paper.
There is a greater demand for authentic, natural looks and feels for furniture surfaces than ever before”, comments Tobias Lorenz, Marketing Manager at SÜDDEKOR in Laichingen. “The high-end interaction of design and technology will clearly provide the main focus in Pordenone this year”.
