Berneck is involved in several aspects of the Forestry industry, from planting and felling trees to manufacturing products which are of paramount importance to human requirements. While we always seek new ways of using this remarkable and renewable resource, we are committed to conducting environmentally sustainable and socially responsible business.

Berneck produces and sells wooden boards as MDP, MDF and HDF as well as Pine lumber and plantation Teak, 100% from planted forests. It seeks full customer satisfaction, providing high-quality products at competitive prices with a personalized, flexible and differentiated service. Berneck’s industrial complex has more than 170,000 m² of built area, three manufacturing units and an annual production capacity of more than 1,200,000 m³ of products with the brand of the timber.
The Company has been in the Market for 68 years (founded in January of 1952) and is able to offer products of a high standard due to the constant investments in new technologies and the strict quality control. For more than 40 years, Berneck has maintained commercial relations with more than 60 countries on every continent, consolidating the reliability of its products both at home and abroad.
With special programs and courses, Berneck invests in the technical and human development of its more than 1600 employees and its neighboring communities in the states of Paraná, Mato Grosso and Santa Catarina. Berneck has 63,000 hectares of land for planting Pine Trees (Pinus elliottii e Pinus taeda) and Teak Trees (Tectona grandis) and plants more than 4 million trees a year.
It promotes several environmental conservation measures such as managing sustainable forests, pollution control, treating liquid and solid residue, environmental education, using aerial cable for extracting timber, and treating solid, liquid and gaseous effluents among other actions of extreme importance for the Company and the environment.
