DRYZONE SOUTH AFRICA IS A HIGH TECH MOISTURE CONTENT MEASURING SYSTEM SINCE 1996.

Its used to improve control of the final moisture content during drying. Its also a valuable tool for the kiln operators to improve quality and kiln throughput. The charge moisture content is shown on the computer screen from green to dry, helping kiln operators to improve schedules. Dryzone has the capability to measure above 90% and can accurately determine transition through fiber saturation point.

Aquscan uses a robust senso head, manufactured from solid steel. Non electronics is located near the sensor head. That is mounted 30 mm below the moving board. How it works: A key feature of AquScan is the design where the electronics is mounted safely away from the path of moving boards travelling at high speed. This unit converts the moisture reading to a data signal. Low frequencies are employed to minimize the effect of density variation on moisture content.
Key Feartures Individual moisture measurements are taken rapidly. The data is send from the Measuring unit to a computer via digital communication.
Transversal or longitudinal installation are available. With transversal configuration boards move crosswise over the sensor heads. A Maximum of ten measuring heads can be installed. With longitudinal configuration boards move lengthwise over the sensor head.
