The 2010 ATIBT Forum will be regarding the wood processing of tropical forests. ATIBT is offering you a program on the 8th and 9th of November in Bologna concerning the wood processing of tropical forests followed by visits of some of the best performing companies in this sector situated between Bologna and Milan.

Why Bologna?
Transformation industries are essentially located North of Italy. The principal Milan‐Bologna axis is especially rich, consisting in companies with the latest equipment to transform tropical forests.

Which topics?
Apart from the main topic of transformation (sawing, veneer, planning, finger‐joining, industrial optimization, waste reduction…) will also be developed:
‐ Latest development linked with FLEGT’s action plan (Due diligence, APV, etc…)
‐ Latest market trends
‐ The carbon footprint of the tropical products
The presentations will be delivered by the best specialists in their areas, EU negotiators for FLEGT, the best carbon footprint research institutes, and the best transformation technicians for all innovations in this sector. 2010 Forum innovations include: more B to B meetings, more technical sessions, more company visits…
