Frank Schouten becomes Honoray President of the ICDLI

The International Committee of the Decorative Laminates Industry (ICDLI) has appointed Frank Schouten, who was managing director of the member Trespa International B.V. for many years, to its Honorary President.
The acting president of the ICDLI, Markus Höchli, presented the honorary diploma to Schouten at the Plenary Assembly on October 8th 2009 in Prague. He thanked Schouten for his dedication, through which he had a great share on the development of the ICDLI to an attractive platform for manufacturers of decorative laminates and their suppliers. Frank Schouten had been elected president of the association several times. At last he held the office from 2004 to 2007. It was his initiative who made the transformation of the ICDLI from an association of associations to an association of single members a successful one.
At his instigation public relations became an important part of the work of the ICDLI. He also introduced an industry analysis which still provides the members of the association with important information about the development of the laminates’ market.
