The Company was founded in 1964 thanks to the passion and commitment of Mr. Pio Tosatto, the Company’s Chairman. Flai operates in the sector of the surfaces treatment of stainless steel press plates and use predominantly hardened AISI 410 material, well-knows for its hardness (this stainless steel was developed by Avesta, now known as Outokumpu and the company also use AISI 630). Flai has developed a wide range of inishes and is constantly proposing new ones; in addition, the company is able to rework press plates in their original finishes, or convert them into other structures, according to customers’s requirements: The maximum working size is 6,700 mm x 2,500 mm. The Company is always looking at market needs and is well knows in the sector for its continuous investments in innovative technologies and for development of creative processes which assure flexibility in the working operations while maintaining a handcrafted diligence for the product’s qualitative features requested by customers.
