M. Technology award ceremony will be held in Verona, at ZOW Italy

Suppliers from the furniture industry, interior design and architecture and design can now enter their innovative products for the M TECHNOLOGY AWARD 2009. For the first time, the awards ceremony will be held in Verona, at ZOW Italy.
The entire furniture and furnishing supply industry is invited to enter innovative products by 21 August 2009 for the third instalment of the M TECHNOLOGY AWARD 2009 as part of this year’s ZOW in Verona, Italy (21 to 24 October 2009). The M TECHNOLOGY AWARD has been bestowed since 2007 by ZOW trade-fair organiser Survey Marketing + Consulting GmbH & Co. KG of Bielefeld. The competition’s official partner is the Italian design association ADI (ASSOCIAZIONE PER IL DISEGNO INDUSTRIALE) in Milan. iF International Forum Design GmbH, based in Hanover, will again be organising and holding the event.
Entries are accepted for the categories: fittings, chemical products, elements and systems, semi-finished products, interior design, surfaces, materials and concepts. Above all, submissions should be innovative and have technological aspects and quality of design. At the time of the fair, they must not have been on the market for more than two years.
The panel of experts, composed of Prof. Ruth Berktold (yes architecture, Munich), Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Rudolf Schricker (BDIA German Union of Interior Designers, Stuttgart), Jens Kohlhase (Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg), Paolo Favaretto (Favaretto & Partners, Padova, Italy) and Alex Terzariol (MM Design, Bressanone, Italy), will judge all entries when they meet on 10 September 2009.
For the first time, the awards will be presented in Verona, Italy, at the opening of the ZOW on 21 October 2009. All winning products will also be exhibited at the trade fair in Verona. In addition, this exhibition will appear at subsequent international ZOW business events and on the website www.zow.info
