Design award for AWP-Präzisionsteile GmbH

AWP-Präzisionsteile GmbH Easy Release Modular System (ERMS) has been distinguished with the red dot: products design 2008 award.
The outstanding innovative design of the ERMS product line from AWP-Präzisionsteile GmbH won one of the most renowned and tough international design’s competitions. During the competitions stages of the Red Dot: products design 2008 the jury experts awarded *The Red Dote* quality certificate to the ERMS for its exclusive design quality. The nomination itself set’s a standard for creative, innovative design, and high quality!
The year 2008 brings together over 3,000 products from a total of 51 nationalities that will be displayed before the experts. The honouring of the prize-winners will take place at the traditionally festive awards presentation in the special atmosphere of the Essen Aalto Theatre and will be attended by more then 1000 guests.
This is AWP-Präzisionsteile GmbH, based in Altlußheim (near Heidelberg, Germany), third Red Dot award. In 2003 AWP-Präzisionsteile GmbH won their first award, The INTERZUM award, for ''the Highest Products Quality''. In 2007 AWP-Präzisionsteile GmbH also won the INTERZUM ''Best of the Best'' award. An award that holds the highest honour that can be reached in any competition.
The AWP-Präzisionsteile GmbH has been confirmed by sub-contractors and System suppliers all over the world. The INTERZUM award proofs that! The ERMS products with their release systems for lockable gas springs have been unsurpassed by its competitors. It is being used in the areas of home, construction, offices, transport and manufactures.
Because the products are in great demand and subsequently the production is growing it has become necessary to move to a larger production facility In October 2008, AWP-Präzisionsteile GmbH will move into its new 5000 Sq meter production facility in Waibstadt (near Sinsheim, Germany) with 1500 Sq meter of production, mounting and stock surface, offices and social location. To show where AWP-Präzisionsteile GmbH is heading the capital stock in 2007 and 2008 increased from €26.000 to €651.000.
