Worldwide investors have confirmed their confidence in Andritz. Here follow the latest major orders:

YILDIZ SUNTA, TURKEY; ANDRITZ SUPPLIES THE 2ND PRESSURIZED REFINING SYSTEM

Andritz received the order for the supply of a Pressurized Refining System for the new investment

of YILDIZ SUNTA MDF, Turkey in July 2005. The plant will be equipped with a S2064 M Refiner

and will be delivered at the end of 2005.

This new Pressurized Refining System will be installed at the same site where the first installation is

under operation. This Pressurized Refining System will be the biggest installation in Turkey.

 

FIBRAPLAC, BRAZIL; ANDRITZ SUPPLIES THE 2ND PRESSURIZED REFINING SYSTEM

The order for the 2nd Pressurized Refining System for the new MDF-line of FIBRAPLAC CHAPAS

DE MDF, Brazil represents a particular achievement for Andritz. The new system will be installed

at the same site as the first one and will be equipped with an Andritz 54/60"-1CP Refiner. The

order was received via Siempelkamp in the 2nd quarter of 2005.
 

FIBRAPLAC, BRAZIL; ANDRITZ SUPPLIES A CHIP WASHING SYSTEM

After the receipt of the order for the Pressurized Refining System, FIBRAPLAC CHAPAS DE

MDF, Brazil has also gone for the 2nd Chip Washing System for the new MDF-line from Andritz.

At FIBRAPLAC, Brazil and YILDIZ SUNTA, Turkey, Andritz managed to convince new customers

of the technical and technological advantages of the Andritz Pressurized Refining Systems. The

well proven and reliable after-sales service was an additional argument for both customers to

purchase their 2nd Pressurized Refining System from Andritz.
 

BARTAR, IRAN; ANDRITZ SUPPLIES A PRESSURIZED REFINING SYSTEM

Andritz received the order for a 45/49"-1CP Pressurized Refining System for NEOPAN BARTAR

via Siempelkamp in the 4th quarter of 2005.

This results in the 3rd Pressurized Refining System sold to Iran by Andritz.
 

2 FURTHER IMPORTANT REFERENCE ORDERS LEAD TO

81 PRESSURIZED REFINING SYSTEMS SOLD IN CHINA

YUNCHENG, CHINA; ANDRITZ SUPPLIES A PRESSURIZED REFINING SYSTEM

YUNCHENG XINYUAN JUNDA WOOD INDUSTRY has ordered an Andritz Pressurized Refining

System due to the well known high quality standard of Andritz equipment as well as the reliable

after-sales service and the support from Andritz during engineering, project execution and

commissioning of the system itself. The system is equipped with a 45/49"-1CP Refiner. Delivery is

scheduled in the first half of 2006.
 

HARBIN SHENGXING, CHINA; ANDRITZ RECEIVED THE ORDER FOR THE

2ND PRESSURIZED REFINING SYSTEM

DAXINGANLING LUZHOU SHENGXING PANELBOARD placed an order for the supply of the

2nd Pressurized Refining System for a capacity of 13 bdmt/h. The system is equipped with a

45/49"-1CP Refiner and was delivered in August 2005. Start-up is scheduled for the beginning of

2006.

ORDERS FOR UPGRADES OF EXISTING PRESSURIZED REFINING SYSTEMS

EGGER, GERMANY

EGGER HOLZWERKSTOFFE, Brilon has decided in favour of Andritz concerning the upgrade of

the existing Andritz 50/54"-1CP Refiner to a 54/60"-1CP Pressurized Refining System as well as

the replacement of the Plug Screw Feeder.

In August 2005 EGGER HOLZWERKSTOFFE, Wismar ordered the upgrade of the existing

Pressurized Refining System for chips from Andritz. The upgrade includes a new 54/60"-1CP

Refiner as well as a replacement of the existing Plug Screw Feeder by a new Andritz 24" Plug

Screw Feeder. The exchange will take place at the end of 2005.

 

KRONOSPAN, UK

Andritz received an order for the upgrade of a Pressurized Refining System with a new 20" Plug

Screw Feeder as a replacement of the existing 16" equipment of KRONOSPAN, Chirk, Wales, in

order to increase the capacity.
 

KRONOSPAN, LUXEMBOURG

KRONOSPAN LUXEMBOURG, Sanem has placed the order for an upgrade of the existing

50/54"-1CP Andritz Refiner to a 54/60"-1CP Pressurized Refining System, to achieve a higher

capacity.

For this purpose the Refiner was transported to the workshop of Andritz Graz, Austria. During the

modernization of the Refiner in the workshop, all necessary exchanges were conducted

simultaneously on site.

The system was successfully re-started in May 2005, as scheduled.
 

KUNZ, GERMANY

KUNZ FASERPLATTENWERK, Baruth has decided in favour of Andritz regarding the upgrade of the

existing Pressurized Refining System to a higher capacity. The erection took place in August 2005

and within only 6 days, in 3 shift operation, the complete system has been upgraded. Besides the

replacement of the existing 24" Plug Screw Feeder by a new 26" Plug Screw Feeder, the vertical

Digester as well as the Discharger were exchanged during the modernization work.

This new Pressurized Refining System at KUNZ, Baruth is now the biggest, single stage Pressurized

Refining System of the MDF-industry worldwide, with a capacity of 55 bdmt/h.
 

START-UP’S AND FINAL ACCEPTANCES IN 2005

The 2nd 54/60"-1CP Pressurized Refining System, especially designed for sawdust as raw

material, at M. KAINDL HOLZINDUSTRIE, Salzburg, Austria was started up successfully in April

2005. A big success for Andritz was to reach the continuous production and guaranteed capacity,

including three shifts operation, within only 2 weeks.

The 42/44"-1CP Pressurized Refining System of MIDLAND CONSTRUCTION, Vietnam, supplied

via Dieffenbacher, was successfully started up in the 2nd quarter of 2005.

The scope of supply from Andritz for the project KRONOSTAR, Scharja, Russia was taken over

from the customer in September 2005, after a successful and quick start-up of the equipment.

The order contains a Chip Preheating System, a Chip Washing System as well as a Pressurized

Refining System with a S2064 M Refiner and a 24" Plug Screw Feeder. With the guaranteed

throughput of 45 bdmt/h, the system is the largest single stage fibre preparation system in Russia.

In the first two quarters of 2005 SHANDONG CHENMING GROUP took over the plant in Heze as

well as in Qihe (province Jiangxi, China). Both plants were supplied with a 50/54"-1CP Refiner.

The plant in Qihe was delivered within 5 months after the contract came into force, within

8 months erected and only 12 months after the contract became effective, the 1st fibres were

produced. Shandong Chenming is operating 3 Pressurized Refining Systems from Andritz in the

MDF-industry and also a P-RC APMP line as well as a Wood Yard from Andritz.

The Pressurized Refining System at HARBIN SHENGXING WOODS has passed the final

acceptance in the first quarter of 2005. A second plant has been ordered from Andritz, as already

mentioned.
 

HENAN MENGZHOU AOSEN WOOD BASED PANEL, Henan province started the continuous

operation of the plant with a capacity of 13 bdmt/h in January 2005. The final acceptance took

place in April 2005.

The plant at HEZE JIATONG GROUP, Shangdong province was able to start continuous

operation in May 2005.
