the system itself. The system is
equipped with a 45/49"-1CP Refiner.
Delivery is
scheduled in the
first half of 2006.
DAXINGANLING
LUZHOU SHENGXING PANELBOARD placed
an order for the supply of the
2nd Pressurized
Refining System for a capacity of
13 bdmt/h. The system is equipped
with a
45/49"-1CP Refiner
and was delivered in August 2005.
Start-up is scheduled for the
beginning of
2006.

EGGER
HOLZWERKSTOFFE, Brilon has decided
in favour of Andritz concerning
the upgrade of
the existing
Andritz 50/54"-1CP Refiner to a
54/60"-1CP Pressurized Refining
System as well as
the replacement of
the Plug Screw Feeder.
In August 2005
EGGER HOLZWERKSTOFFE, Wismar
ordered the upgrade of the
existing
Pressurized
Refining System for chips from
Andritz. The upgrade includes a
new 54/60"-1CP
Refiner as well as
a replacement of the existing Plug
Screw Feeder by a new Andritz 24"
Plug
Screw Feeder. The
exchange will take place at the
end of 2005.

Andritz received
an order for the upgrade of a
Pressurized Refining System with a
new 20" Plug
Screw Feeder as a
replacement of the existing 16"
equipment of KRONOSPAN, Chirk,
Wales, in
order to increase
the capacity.

order for an upgrade of the
existing
50/54"-1CP Andritz
Refiner to a 54/60"-1CP
Pressurized Refining System, to
achieve a higher
capacity.
For this purpose
the Refiner was transported to the
workshop of Andritz Graz, Austria.
During the
modernization of
the Refiner in the workshop, all
necessary exchanges were conducted
simultaneously on
site.
The system was
successfully re-started in May
2005, as scheduled.

KUNZ
FASERPLATTENWERK, Baruth has
decided in favour of Andritz
regarding the upgrade of the
existing
Pressurized Refining System to a
higher capacity. The erection took
place in August 2005
and within only 6
days, in 3 shift operation, the
complete system has been upgraded.
Besides the
replacement of the
existing 24" Plug Screw Feeder by
a new 26" Plug Screw Feeder, the
vertical
Digester as well
as the Discharger were exchanged
during the modernization work.
This new
Pressurized Refining System at
KUNZ, Baruth is now the biggest,
single stage Pressurized
Refining System of
the MDF-industry worldwide, with a
capacity of 55 bdmt/h.
