Nominations Sought for TAPPI
Decorative and Industrial
Laminates Hall of Fame
TAPPI’s
Decorative and Industrial
Laminates (DIL) Committee is
seeking nominations for the
Decorative and Industrial
Laminates Hall of Fame.
Established in 2003, the DIL
Hall of Fame recognizes
individuals for leadership
and service, which have
significantly and
demonstrably contributed to
the advancement of the
laminate industry. The
laminate industry includes
high and low pressure
laminate manufacturers, foil
laminate manufacturers,
suppliers to this industry
and users of the laminate.
Hall of Fame nominees
typically will have been
long standing, active
members in the industry who
have made significant
contributions in developing
the laminate industry.
Nominations are being
accepted until March 15,
2006. New inductees will be
recognized at the TAPPI
Decorative and Industrial
Laminates Symposium, August
21-23, 2006 in Atlanta,
Georgia. Nomination forms

the Decorative and
Industrial Laminates Hall of
Fame include: Mr. John
Anthony, Dr. David E.
Baldwin, Mr. Robert E.
Fremont, Mr. Charles “Chuck”
Keller, Mr. Herbert I. Scher,
and Dr. Ralph Wilson, Jr.
These pioneers were honored
at the 2004 TAPPI Decorative
and Industrial Laminates
Conference.
