The second European Conference on Wood Modification will be held in Göttingen, Germany in October 2005.
The conference will be organized jointly with the European COST Actions E37 "Sustainability through new technologies for enhanced wood durability" and COST E44 "Wood processing strategy". The conference will provide a forum where experts from research institutes and commercial companies in areas relating to wood modification can present developments in this subject. Anyone worldwide, with an interest in wood modification is invited to attend, whether from an academic or industrial background. This conference will provide a strong base for learning of methods and approaches being applied in this ever-expanding developmental area, and will allow for forging new links in the field of wood treatments processes and applications.
