Furniture China - Shanghai  September 14-17, 2005
The 11th edition of Furniture China will be staged at Shanghai New International Expo Center during September 14-17, 2005.  Three months ahead of the show, totally 200.000 sqm exhibition space covering 7 main halls and 10 temporary halls has been booked. 1,200 exhibitors have confirmed their participation. Furniture China 2005 comprises five concurrent events: Home Furniture, Office Furniture China, Furnishings, Fabrics & Lightings China and Furniture Manufacturing & Supply China, as well as the Chinese edition of the world famous trade fair OW Trend & Design. While the core event is located in the Shanghai New International Expo Center, sub-venues have been added to meet the demand for exhibition space limitation.
Shuttle services will be provided for easy transfer not only between exhibition venues, but also to major hotels and metro stations.  While the majority of exhibitors are Chinese manufacturers, 11.000 sqm gross space has been booked by international exhibitors in Hall 1 of SNIEC. Despite exhibitors from the Asian-Pacific region, Furniture China proudly confirms the increasing interest from overseas, emphasizing Furniture China growing impact on the international furniture trade.

The organizers expect approximately 60,000 local and 7,000 international trade visitors to attend the event. Trade delegations from the USA, Europe and Southeast Asia have been announced. Additionally, huge international media attendance is expected.

The shows attraction for international visitors is driven by the fact that
