A
key component of the 4th
Rebuilding Iraq Conference on July 20-21
will be the opportunities available for
attendees to build partnerships with Iraqi
entrepreneurs. Leading Iraqi entrepreneurs
plan to attend the conference, to be held in
Washington DC, in order to find partners in
the development of their country. New Fields,
the organizer of the conference, brought
together hundreds of American and Iraqi
business leaders for the previous Rebuilding
Iraq conferences in 2003 and 2004.
“One
of the points that experts at our previous
Rebuilding Iraq events repeatedly stressed
to our attendees was the need for them to
find partners who are already on the ground
in Iraq,” said Samir Farajallah, President
and CEO of New Fields. “The 4th
Rebuilding Iraq Conference will be a unique
forum in which U.S. companies planning to
explore business opportunities in the new
Iraq will have a chance to meet, network,
and form partnerships with their Iraqi
counterparts.”
Topics at the 4th Rebuilding Iraq
Conference will include security,
contracting and subcontracting opportunities,
working with the Iraqi government and the
Iraqi business community, industry-specific
breakout sessions, and much more.
The
conference is the latest installment in a
series of events that brought together Iraqi
government ministers, U.S. government
decision-makers, prime contractors, Iraqi
entrepreneurs, and hundreds of American
business leaders together in 2003 and 2004
to network and devise solutions for the
reconstruction and modernization of Iraq.
